Welsh Music Foundation’s core aim is to develop the commercial music sector in Wales by offering information, advice and support to music enterprises and start-ups.

Since its inception in 2000, WMF has achieved this through regular seminars, drop-in surgeries, mentoring sessions, career development training, ‘speed dating’ our e-bulletins and networking meetings. WMF’s information service provides specialist advice to the sector, whilst the WMF directory pulls together over 2000 Welsh music businesses and services in 65 categories. If you in are involved in music, whether as an enterprise, sole trader of start-up, WMF are the people to contact for specialist advice or industry contacts.

WMF works in partnership with organisations including the Association of independent Music, UK Music, Musicians Union, Welsh Language Board, Creative Business Wales and Government departments to ensure the needs and interests of music enterprises in Wales are represented.

WMF is core Funded by the Welsh Assembly Government as part of its Strategy for the Creative industries in Wales.

Welsh Millennium Centre

Wales Millennium Centre

Wales Millennium Centre opened in November 2004 and is already establishing a reputation as one of the world’s most iconic arts and cultural destinations and is an award-winning national symbol for Wales. The Centre operates a diverse range of activities in the two main theatres, the 1,900 seat Donald Gordon Theatre and 250 seat Weston Studio.
